In preparation for Neighborhood Housing Services of Waterbury (NHSW)’s 3rd Annual Home Matters Dinner & Benefit, Studio Q Architecture’s Ron Quicquaro had the chance to speak on WATR Radio to discuss Studio Q’s involvement with NHSW’s work as well as last year’s design competition. NHSW is a local organization that works to revitalize the community through providing affordable, quality, housing, advancing community development initiatives, and fostering financial education, self-sufficiency, and vibrant neighborhoods. They hold an annual competition to encourage local architects to engage in the community by designing affordable housing to be developed in Waterbury. Studio Q participated and won last year’s design competition to create an affordable two family home, and is participating as a judge in this year’s competition.
