Project Type: New Construction
Project Location: Danbury, CT
Project Size: 78 Units
Project Cost: $21 Million
Project Description:
Integral to the City of Danbury’s Main Street District, the Connecticut Institute for Communities is planned to be a vital part of the downtown landscape. The four story mixed use facility will house the Connecticut Institute for Communities “CIFC” offices, training and seminar space, a host of medical offices and a coffee shop on themain level. Along with meeting all the programmatic needs for housing and a health center, the project is intended to define the corners of Boughton and Main Street and improve their overall character. Parking requirements are met on site, on the neighboring streets, and across Main Street at the St. Peter’s Church parking lot. Early Concepts of the exterior design vocabulary explore a “collegiate” design aesthetic while working with the existing downtown Danbury design vernacular.
